What is Il Salone?

Located in a quiet and spacious corner of Eataly, Il Salone is the ideal place to hold a private experience. In an elegant room overlooking downtown Chicago, the space accommodates a range of private dining and event formats including seated dinners, buffet style dining, and cocktail receptions with passed hors d’oeuvres. Prior to the redesign of this event space, this area was a blank canvas without an identity. Customers didn’t know what to expect and weren’t drawn to the area. As a result, private event sales were underperforming. I used this opportunity to create a welcoming visual experience that draws customers in. The natural earth tones help the guest feel like they are immersed in the nature of the Italian countryside, while the touch of metallic gold helps give this space an elegant touch.
